AEOLIAN ORCHESTRA

CONCERT TO-NIGHT Music lovers should have no difficulty in enjoying themselves this evening, when the first concert of the season will be given by the Aeolian Orchestra in the Town Hall. It is understood the orchestra is providing music by only British composers. Last year the orchestra had a most successful season, and before the last concert it was obliged to give a special request programme. This was greatly appreciated by a large number of patrons, who recognised the excellence of the orchestra in certain numbers. There are 50 members of the orchestra, which consists of ten first violins, twelve second violins, two violas, two cellos, three basses, four flutes, two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, three horns, three cornets, two trombones, and two members manipulating tuba and tympani. Miss Phyllis Gribble and? Mr. H. Richards will be assisting vocally.
