On our trading Pvi , osr? nUa a fr ° m 55111 es amounted to the previous year, an increase of £3,510 16s 7d for this year. Summed up, this discloses the position as ftflows: On March 31, 1926, the boards debits to date showed an amount of £7,303 19s Id. On March 31 19°7 it stood at £6,205 5s 9d, which means that all liabilities have been met and the previous accumulated losses decreased by the sum of £1,098 13s 4d. During the year our new offices, which we now occupy, have been erected, and equipped, at a cost of £3,018, met out of our original loan authorisation, in the schedule of which provision had been made for this work. In August last a further loan authority for the sum of £25,000 was sought and sanctioned by the ratepayers. The purposes of the loan are threeford—for extensions, static condensers, and safety devices. As showing the necessity for th s provision, extensions during the past year have amounted to the cost o'! £4,029, £95 also being spent on ma n transmission lines.
