LIBRARY CONCERTS

PARNELL The opening concert of the Parnell Library course has been arranged by Miss Maida Hooker and Miss Berta Carr for Tuesday, May 24. The programme is rich in variety, comprising vocal solos and duets, piano and ’cello solos, instrumental trios and elocutionary recitals. The artistes taking part in the programme are Mrs. Robertson, Misses Lloyd, Cecilia Duncan, Doris Messer, Myra Monk, Pat McLeod, Nellie Simpson, Messrs. Ernest Snell, Normand Watson, Arthur Reid, Hugh Woods, Miss Maida Hooker is the accompanist. Course tickets are obtainable at all city libraries and Queen Street bookshops.
