AMERICAN PROJECT WILL COST £4,000,000 By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright WASHINGTON. Wednesday. An Air Commission has been appointed to examine the designs for the two projected airships which were authorised by Congress. They will have a capacity of 6,000,000 cubic feet, and will, it is expected, travel for 6.000 miles at an average speed of 50 knots. It is estimated that each ship will cost €4,000,000, and that three years will be required for their construction.—A. and N.Z.
