BRIDGE COLLAPSES WITH HEAVY LOAD KILLS YOUNG MAN Press Association TE KUITI, To-day. A young man named D. McFall, in the employ of the Mapara Timber Company, was killed this morning at 11.30 o’clock in the bush. Deceased was riding on a loaded truck pulled by a tractor. When crossing a stream the bridge collapsed and the logs fell on McFall, who was killed instantly.
