STARSATSUVA

Beatrice Grimshaw Film MOVIE EXPEDITION (From Our Own Correspondent .) SUVA, May 11. Mr. Norman Dawn and party, representing Australian Films, Ltd., and a party of movie actors, arrived by the Sierra from Sydney on May 5, to commence operations for the filming of Beatrice Grimshaw’a “Conn of the Coral Reef.” Mr. Norman Dawn is a well-known Hollywood producer. His party numbers 18. Edith Roberts, Eddie Burns and Walter Long, who are en route from Hollywood, will shortly join the others. Jessica Harcourt, a wellknown J. C. Williamson beauty girl, Jack Gavin, and Arthur Tauchart, who took part in the filming of “The Sentimental Bloke,” are the Australians in the party. Norman Dawn took part in the production of “The Term of His Natural Life,” in which Eva Novak, now again in Australia, played the leading role.

The company has established its headquarters at the Grand Pacific Hotel, and are busy each day in finding suitable locations, collecting information, and arranging for transport and provisions when operations will keep the principals away from Suva.

Suva is keenly interested in her movie visitors. It is anticipated that they will spend about £B,OOO during their stay.
