Jack Warner passed Louise Fazenda on the Warner grounds the other day. She was all dolled up with funny clothes and paint and powder, ready to go on a set near, when Mr. Warner noticed the unusual agitation of Louise’s jaws. “Louise,” he said, pretending to be very stern, “I wish you would not chew gum so much. Don’t you know' it is just made out of horse’s hoofs?” “Um-humhh,” said Louise, chewing all the harder, “maybe that’s the reason I get such a kick out of chew'ing it.”
