A MODEST TEACHER
“It’s good to find a teacher honest enough to say that he is not capable of taking the position,” said a member at the Education Board’s meeting to-day. A letter had been received from an applicant who had just found out that science was one of the subjects he would be required to teach in a junior high school. As his knowledge was “distinctly limited” he asked for permission to withdraw his application.
