PRINCE EDWARD
“DON JUAN”
The Warner Bros.’ Master picture, “JDon Juan,” will be shown at the Prince Edward Theatre for three days only, commencing to-day. The story is well known. Of Barrymore, a reviewer h;is written: “He is dashing, ardent, well poised. He brings to the characters a well - studied psychology and is more nearly the true Don Juan than the ideal that many ; have raisfd. Grac^ I ful, well-knit, agil«* and arcient, he makes the don the perfect lover, practised in every wile, adroit in excuses and inventions and making a serious business of the pastime of love. In the latter scenes, notably in the duel, he displays an agility and grace suggestive of Fairbanks at his best. The duel is notably good and his escape from the underwater dungeon and the subsequent rescue of Adrianna and the flight on horseback are built in to provide a climax that is well within the tale and vet which fully satisfied the demand • f a majority of the public fer fast and vivid action.”
