HOME OIL STORAGE
The type of package from which oil is received, by the consumer often plays a big part in the efficiency of lubrication — it certainly makes for economy. A dirt-collecting package may lead to trouble, while an inconvenient oil package—one from which-ihe oil cannot be extracted in a clean, convenient manner, without waste —is not economical
Recognising the importance and desirability of an improved container for lubricating oil, the Vacuum Oil Company Proprietary Limited have recently placed on the market an Sgal. drum of Mobiloil. This drum is a handy size for the home garage, and will no doubt be welcomed by many motorists who like to have their own supplies. The principal fea.ture of the drum is the type of faucet which enables the Mobiloil to be extracted with a gauntleted hand without fear of soiling, a feature of cleanliness that will appeal to motorists, besides the assurance that the Mobiloil they are putting into their cars is genuine and of the correct grade.
The regulation of traffic by the point duty policeman is, of course, difficult, especially in congested, areas where only one man is on duty. To overcome this the Wolverhampton police authorities have provided a coat for their point duty men with “Stop” written in big letters across the back, so that upon the constable turning round the line of traffic behind him is automatically brought to a standstill, allowing him to be free to signal on each side of him and in front of him.
