16TH CENTURY CHAIRS

GIFT TO ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH Modelled on the communion chair of John Calvin, a memorial communion table and chairs in fumed oak have been presented to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church by Mrs. Oliphant and family, to commemorate the late Mr.. P. Oliphant’s long connection with the church. Mr. Oliphant was one of the most highly-esteemed members of the church for over 30 years. The emblems were dedicated at the morning service yesterday by the Rev. J. Lamb Harvey.
