PAYING DEARLY
JOY-RIDER INJURED THREE MONTHS IN HOSPITAL THEN GETS HARD LABOUR Press Association NAPIER, To-day. After spending three months in the Napier Hospital as the result of injuries received when a car he had appropriated capsized. Robert John May was arrested and charged with the offence at the court to-day. The magistrate said he would take into consideration the fact that accused had been in hospital so long and inflicted one month’s hard labour. Another man, who was with the accused at the time, has so far avoided arrest.
