“GO HOME AT NIGHT”

MAGISTRATE’S ADVICE “I won’t start you off with a conviction,” said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in tlie Police Court this morning when a young man of 22, Arthur Charles Wilkins, was charged with being found by night on licensed premises. The caretaker of the hotel had seen Wilkins coming down the stairs about one o’clock this morning. He said that he was the occupier of room 33, but it afterwards transpired that he had been taken to the hotel by the man in “No. 33” and had subsequently fallen asleep. The caretaker handed him over to Constable Shields. “Now take care of yourself in future and go home at nights,” warned the magistrate, as he dismissed the charge on payment of costs.
