BRITISH CAVALRY
DEPOT TO BE ABOLISHED TRAINING WITH REGIMENTS (British Official 'Wireless.') ( Copyright.) Reed. 10.50 a.m. RUGBY, Friday. The King has approved of the abolition of the cavalry depot at Canter-
bury, to take effect from June 13. The Army Order which makes this announcement states that arrangements have been made for all recruits enlisting for Cavalry of the Line to be despatched direct from the places of enlistment to the regiments at home with which they -(vill undergo their recruit training.
From June 1 cavalry personnel arriving from abroad, who would have been sent to the cavalry depot, will be sent to the regiments at home.—A. and N.Z.
