CURRENT PRICES By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Wednesday. At the London wool sales to-day nearly half the offerings consisted of puntas. The supply of Merinos was limited, but there was a good supply of all classes of New Zealand wools. There was a good tone and keen general competition continued. The following New Zealand clips sold at the rates named:—“Sandhurst,” 22d to 2 “Tukelokihi,” 16d to 15d; “Niku,” 17d to 16d; “Leslie Hills,” 23d to 22?.d; “R.H.F.,” 221 d to 22d. TALLOW At the London tallow sales to-day 1,088 casks were offered and 423 sold. Good mutton tallow was unchanged; others were difficult to sell at late rates to 6d down. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated May 11:—At the tallow sales. 1,090 casks of tallow were offered, and 40 per cent. sold. Prices are 6d lower. WHEAT Cargoes show signs of a revival of Continental interest, but quotations are unchanged. Parcels are in small demand at a decline of 3d to 6d. Liverpool futures.—May. 10s to 10s 7-8 d per cental: July, 10s Bid; October, 10s 4?d. —A. and N.Z. FRUIT VALUES Under date May 11 the Auckland office of the New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board advises receipt of the following cablegram from its London representative: lonic shipment cleared. Pakeha shipment arrived in good condition, though there was slight waste in Nelis and Bose. Prices ranged: Cox, 18s to 255: Jonathan. Statesman, 13s to 16s: Delicious, Alfriston. 13s to 15s; London. 13s to 14s; Cleo, 17s to 18s; Coles. Bose, 14s to 18s; Nelis, 16s. PRODUCE QUOTATIONS London produce quotations on May 11 are given by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., as follows: Butter.—lsßs to 160 s; market firm. Cheese.—Bls to 83s; market quiet. Hemp.—Good fair. £37 10s: high point fair, £35 10s; low fair, £34.
