CHARGES OF FRAUD

KELLY AGAIN REMANDED When William Francis Kelly appeared in the Police Court to-day on remand from May 3, Chief-Detective Cummings asked for a further remand till Monday. Kelly was arrested in New Plymouth and charged with passing a valueless cheque for £2l 10s. To-day he found the charges had increased from one to five. Two of them were concerned with valueless cheques for £lO and £3O, respectively. one with obtaining £5 by fraud, and the fifth of forging a telegram.
