APPRECIATION
The officials of the Cambridge Trotting Club were naturally delighted at the success which attended their efforts on Saturday last, and there was certainly justification for the elation of the executive and secretary. The meeting was excellently conducted and the harmonious manner in which Mr. Stopford and his associates worked materially assisted towards the success achieved. In conversation with “Abaydos” during the racing, the secretary expressed the appreciation of the committee at the publicity given the Cambridge fixture in the trotting columns of THE SUN, which he considered had also greatly assisted in popularising the meeting.
