PRINCESS THEATRE

“TAKE IT FROM ME” Mona Denny, sister of Reginald Denny, Universal’s popular farcecomedy star, worked as an extra for two days in “Take It From Me,” her brother’s latest picture, which comes to the Princess Theatre to-night. Miss Denny, just over from England, was visiting her cinematically famous brother during the making of the picture, and as a surprise to him, arranged with .William Seiter, the director, to appear as an extra on the set. It was- not until the first day’s work was almost over that the star discovered his sister among the extras. Shortly after the picture was finished, Miss Denny, who is a wellknown stage actress in England, returned to her home in London. She intends to return to America within a few months, and may possibly take up a motion picture career at Hollywood. “Take It From Me” is a William A. Seiter production, based on the musical comedy success of the same name by Will B. Johnstone and Will R. Anderson. Harvey Thew wrote the adaptation.

The supporting cast includes Blanche Mehaffey, Ben Hendricks, jun., Lee Moran, Ethel Wales, Lucien Littlefield, Jean Tolley, Vera Lewis, Bertram Johns, Tom O’Brien and others.

The second feature on the programme will be Michael Arlen’s “The Ace of Cads,” in which Adolphe Menjou takes the leading part.
