LABOUR DIVIDED
SPLIT IN NEW SOUTH WALES PARTY EXECUTIVE MEETS By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright SYDNEY, Wednesday. The Federal executive of the Australian Labour Party met at Canberra to consider the position which has arisen in New South Wales over the recent split in the ranks of Labour. The delegates of the anti-Lc-g- faction were admitted, but the representatives who were appointed to the Seale conference weer not allowed to participate in the meeting. The proceedings at the Federal Conference do not commence until after the meeting of the executive has been concluded and the status of all the delegates has been decided. —A. and N.Z.

The State Cabinet has authorised the Premier, Mr. John Allan, to submit the resignation of the Ministry to the Governor, Lord Somers. It is practically certain that the Leader of the Labour Party will be commissioned to form a new Ministry. —A. and N.Z.
