CLIENTS OF WHITTA?
MANY CHARGES SOUTHLAND RESIDENTS (Special to THE SUN. ) CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Another fairly , large batch of cases against persons supposed to have had gaming transactions with H. V. Whitta (the convicted bookmaker) will be dealt with in the Magistrate’s Court to-morrow.
About 40 names, principally of persons resident in Invercargill and Gore will be called.
