(Special to THE SUN. ) FEILDING, Monday. While Mr. Stewart was speaking on Arbitration Court and wages an interjector asked:—Does that mean that the Government is waiting for a lead? Mr. Stewart: No, the Government is prepared to lead all the time, but the Government does not want to give the impression that it had its ear to the ground listening for the sound of public opinion. He declined to discuss the tariff as it was under review at present, but said that if the revision committee brought down sa sensible and as thoughtful a recommendations as was the case in 1921 it should meet with friendly reception in the House of Representatives.
