COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar, due at Auckland this afternoon from Napier, via Gisborne and Bays, leaves to-morrow at 10 p.m. on the return trip. The Wainui, sailing at 5 p.m. to-day for Napier, via Gisborne and Tokomaru Bay, returns to Auckland on Sunday. The Katoa was to leave Dunedin last night, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland, where she is clue early next week. The Kamona left Portland at 3 p.m. yesterday for Wellington and New Plymouth. The Kaiwarra, which left Newcastle 11.30 a.m. Saturday last for Auckland, arrives here on Friday. The Wingatui leaves Bluff about Saturday next for Auckland, via Lyttelton and Wellington. The Waipahi sails 8 p.m. to-day for Rarotonga, Mangaia and Aitutaki. The Kurow sails on Thursday for Lyttelton direct, and is announced to leave there on Monday next for Picton and Auckland. The Waipiata sails 10 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington and Dunedin. She loads at Dunedin about Tuesday next, thence Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. The Ivawatiri sails to-morrow at noon for Newcastle, where she loads for New Zealand. The Kaponga sails 2 p.m. to-day for Greymouth, where she loads, thence Westport for Auckland. The Arawa is expected to clear Auckland daylight on Saturday for Wellington. - The Australind, in continuation of her voyage from New York, left here last night for Wellington. It is hoped to dispatch the Baron Ruthven on Saturday for Westport for bunThe Taniwha sails at 5.30 p.m. to-day for Paeroa. The Claymore leaves for Whangarei at 3 o’clock this afternoon.
The Motu sails for Whakatane at noon to-day. The Rangitoto is expected at 5.30 p.m. to-day from Thames, and sails again at 10 a.m. to-morrow. The Hauiti is due from Coromandel at 7 p.m. to-day. The Omana is to arrive from Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth at 7 p.m. today and sails at 10 a.m. to-morrow for Waiheke. The Kawau is due at 10.15 p.m. to-day from Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai and sails at 8 a.m. to-morrow for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. The Waipu is expected at 8 a.m. tomorrow from Kerepeehi. The Matangi will arrive from Tauranga at 8 a.m. to-morrow. The Apanui is due from Mercury Bay and Tairua at 6 a.m. to-morrow. The Waiotahi is lying up for her annual overhaul. The Richardson steamer Mako was delayed at Portland yesterday through rain. Her departure for Auckland was postponed till this morning. She sails from here on Wednesday on the return trip. The Crosskeys leaves Timaru to-day for Dunedin and Melbourne. The Cumberland clears Napier either to-night or to-morrow for Wellington. The Foreric was to berth at Wanganui this morning and leaves on Saturdav for Westport for bunkers. The Mataroa leaves Auckland daylight to-morrow for Wellington, where she completes her discharge of London The Pe tricola cleared Auckland yesterday afternoon for Wellington. The Port Curtis leaves Timaru to-day for New Plymouth and Australia. The Queen Eleanor, which arrived at Wellington yesterday, sails to-morrow for Lvttelton, Dunedin and Australia'.
