QUEEN STREET COLLISION
A crash in Queen Street at three o’clock yesterday afternoon announced that a light motor delivery van had collided with a centre pole opposite the entrance to Vulcan Lane. The driver of the truck made no mistake about his tilt at the iron pole, and hit it head on, breaking a lamp and denting the front of his car. For some moments the engine declined to restart, but after some trouble the driver mnaged to start his vehicle, and get it away.
