HAMILTON CLUB FIXTURES FOR SEASON (From Our Own Correspondent .) HAMILTON, To-day. A comprehensive programme of golf fixtures at St. Andrews links this season has been arranged by the Hamilton Golf Club, including the Winter Show Challenge Cup competition. The New Zealand championships are set down to begin or August 31. The remaining competitions for this year are as follow —
May 14 —Medal Handicap. May 21 —Married v. Single. May 2S—Open.
June 3—Winter Show Challenge Cup, to be played over 36 holes, medal handicap; also 18 holes medal handicap morning and 18 holes bogey handicap afternoon. June 4—Bogey Handicap. June 11 —Hamilton v. Auckland seniors at Hamilton; juniors at Auckland. June 14—Entries close for Bell Cup. June 18—Bell Cup match play handicap (first round). June 25—Second round Bell Cup and Ist round Consolation Handicap for players defeated in first round. July 2—Third round Bell Cup, second round Consolation Handicap and Medal Handicap. July 9—Fourth round Bell Cup, third round Consolation Handicap and Bogey Handicap. July 16—Fifth round Bell Cup, fourth round Consolation Handicap and Medal Handicap.
July 23 —Final Bell Cup, fifth round Consolation Handicap and mixed foursomes.
July 30 —Qualifying round senior and junior championships; seniors 16 to qualify, juniors 16 to qualify. August 6—First round championship (senior and junior) and Medal Handicap.
August 13 —Second round championship (senior and junior) and Medal Handicap.
August 20—Championship semifinals and Bogey Handicap. August 27—Final senior and junior championship and four-ball best ball bogey handicap. August 31—New Zealand championships foursomes (amateur and professional), 36 holes, stroke play.
September 2 to 10 —New Zealand golf tournament at Hamilton. September 16. .
September 24—Hamilton v. Auckland; seniors at Auckland, juniors at Hamilton.
October I—Open. October S —Canadian foursome. October 13 to 15—South Auckland tournament.
October 22. —Club match teams, President v. Captain.
October 29 —Consolation match bogey handicap; winners of any previous competition during the season not eligible to enter. November s—Seniors5 —Seniors to partner juniors, four-ball best ball bogey handicap. v
November 12.—Mixed foursomes presentation of prizes.
