AUCKLAND FRENCH CLUB

The winter season of the Auckland French Club, affiliated to L’Alllance Francaise, will be opened this evening in the Y.W.C.A. clubroom, Union Buildings. M. Paul A. Serre, French Consul, will conduct the first portion of the programme, which will take the form of a conversation course. The subject will be “A Voyage at Sea.” Then will follow a musical session, under the direction of Mdlle. E. Hall. An interesting and novel item will be the presentation of a play, “Un Mariage a Londres,” presented by members of the club, of whom there are already over 100. A special effort is being made by Mr. G. H. Bassant to improve the social activities of the club.
