WINTER BOWLING
Summer and winter alike, a bowler still answers the call of the green. Auckland trundlers of the wooden spheres will soon be in the midst of winter bowls, and at the Carlton Green on Saturday a start was made with a full green. Play will be continued at Carlton every fine week-day afternoon and on Saturday afternoon eleven rinks will be available, which wi 11 allow for rinks from other clubs arranging to play against Carlton members. These games may be booked beforehand with the club's secretary, Mr. W. E. Arey.
