A reassuring statement regarding Mr. Ramsay MacDonald’s condition has been made by Dr. Solis-Cohen and confirmed by other specialists in Philadelphia. It is stated that there is nothing organically wrong with the patient, but he is suffering only from the weakness following a long period of fever. There have been no complications, and Mr. MacDonald is now making excellent progress, and what he needs is rest and quiet. He may be able to leave Hospital in about ten days’ time.—A. and N.Z.
