MAORI CHIEF DIES
BIG TANGI PROGRESSING Press Association. WAIROA, To-day. Iliaaka Whaanga. a well-known Maori chief, of Nuliaka, and one of the best-known and highly-respected chiefs on the East Coast, died yesterday morning after a long illness. A big tangi is taking place.
