EGYPTIAN CEMETERIES By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright CAIRO, Thursday. The High Commissioner for New Zealand, Sir James Parr, at the conclusion of his visit of inspection to the New Zealand soldiers’ cemeteries at Alexandria and Cairo said: “I have never seen a more beautiful resting place than the cemetery at Cairo, where 240 New Zealanders are buried. “My only regret is that some of the headstones are dilapidated. These were erected privately before the War Graves Commission took over the work. This is being remedied.”—A. and N.Z.
