SMALL CRICKET BALL
M.C.C. LEGALISES USE By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's was chiefly occupied with formal business. The meeting passed a unanimous resolution in favour of a smaller ball, and also passed a motion legalising the use of both sizes of balls for the cornseason. The first-class matches are to have the preference in securing the new smaller balls. Lord Leconfield was elected president of the club. —A. and N.Z.-Sun.
