RUGBY IN THE PROVINCE
INTER-UNION FIXTURES The Management Committee of the Waipa Rugby Union held a meeting last evening. Matamata Rugby Union advised that Waipa’s challenge for the Boyce Cup had been accepted as second on the list, Morrinsville being first. A date for the Waipa versus Matamata match will be determined later. Thames Rugby Union notified acceptance of Waipa’s challenge for the Peace Cup, but prior challenges were to hand from Hamilton, Morrinsville, Cambridge, Hauraki Plains and Matamata. PUKEKOHE RUGBY SUB-UNION (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, To-day. At a meeting of the Pukekohe Rugby Sub-Union, the first round of the senior fixtures was drawn as follows: May 7.—White Star v. Ramblers; City v. Patunmhoe; Power Board a bye. May 14.—Poxver Board v. Ramblers, City v, White Star; Patumahoe a bye. May 21.—Patumahoe v. White Star; Power Board v. City! Ramblers a bye. May 28.—Ramblers v. Patumahoe: Power Board v. City; Ramblers a bye.
