CIMABUE- SOLD? Cimabue has been well in the public eye of late. He was turned down by Mr. T. A. Duncan because of not passing the veterinary surgeon’s examination, but last week (according to “Vedette”) his sale was completed to a client of an Auckland firm. The money was paid over and all documents signed, but when the new owner's representative went to take delivery of the horse, H. Neagle, his trainer, is alleged to have refused to hand him over. Later Neagle announced that he had bought Cimabue himself. At present Cimabue stands as sold to two men.
