TROUSERS AND ALL

FOOTBALLER ROBBED PILFERING ON THE PARKS The harrowing story of a footballer who was robbed of clothes, as well as cash, and had to go home in his somewhat abbreviated football garments, was related by Mr. A. Menzies, chairman of the Auckland Football Association, at a meeting of the management committee last evening. Many complaints of petty thieving from dressing-sheds on the parks were heard. A member stated that last season valuables were stolen, even when a policeman was on guard. A warning against the foolishness of leaving clothes and money lying about is to be issued to players.
