BURGLARY CHARGE

YOUTH OF 18 IN COURT REMANDED TO MAY 5 David Barry, a youth of IS, who was arrested by Constable Packman yesterday appeared in the Police Court this morning charged with breaking and entering the Bon Marche in Karangahape Road on March 3, and stealing £2 in money, 5s 6d in postal notes, and lid in stamps. At the request of Chief-Detective Cummings, who observed that there were other charges pending, he was remanded until Thursday.
