THROUGH AMERICAN EYES
The following is clipped from a review appearing in an American daily: “New Zealand. —All of the articles generally classed among servicing appliances are in use in New Zealand, and the larger service stations are well equipped with a wide variety of machinery. Due to the fact that the United States has developed higher type service equipment than the English or Continental manufacturers, there is no serious competition to be met. The market is highly competitive well organised, and the wholesalers are associated under an agreement not to sell direct to the public but only through retailers. United States exports were 247,212 dollars.”
