ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS
NOMINATIONS RECEIVED Only six nominations have been received for seven seats on the Orapiu Road Board, and a by-election will be necessary for the remaining seat. The six, who have been duly elected, are as follow:—Messrs. W. N. Mclntosh, G. A. Gribbin. C. L. Mclntosh. F. Chapman, T. C. Somers and A. M. Mclntosh. Four nominations have been received for three seats on the Panmure Road Board and an election will be held on May 9. The candidates are Messrs. J. A. C. Fleming, C. H. Gatwood, P. Malone and G. Turton.
