YOUNG MAN’S ADMISSION Press Association PALMERSTON NORTH, To-day. “Breaking and entering premises seems to be a sort of mania with me. I cannot help it,” was a statement made to detective officers by William Victor Haslam, aged 20, who pleaded “guilty” at the court this morning to charges of breaking and entering and one of theft from a dwelling. Accused told the detectives he came from England in March last year, going to work at Linton. Tools found on him were intended for further housebreaking, said Detective Russell. Accused was committed to the Supreme Ccri.*rt at Wellington for sen--1 tence.
