STRUCK BY TAXI

WOMAN’S LEG BROKEN As the result of being knocked down by a taxi in Queen Street yesterday, Mrs. M. Benns, of Buckland's Beach, received injuries to her leg and was taken to the Auckland Hospital. Mrs. Benns was stepping from a safetv zone and apparently did not see the taxi-cab approaching until it was too late. She received a fractured leg. She is progressing well
