ROUND THE CLUBS GREY LYNN’S PROGRESS TEAMS FOR SATURDAY The Grey Lynn Bowling Club is holding another of its series of pairs tournaments all day on Wednesday, May 11. The new greens are now sown in grass and should be in splendid order for the next summer season. In the meantime, play will continue as usual throughout the winter months on the old green. - A finance committee has been elected to consider the erection of a pavilion. During Easter a pairs tournament was held on the Takapuna Club’s green. The winning team, Robinson and Somerfield. went through without a loss, winning eight games. The following teams tied for second place with seven wins each; E. Hunt and Bennett, Elliot and Dunlop, Edwards and Eckersley. In the play-off Edwards and Eckersley won the second prize.
