WEEK-END ACCIDENTS

PEDESTRIANS SUFFER INJURY Suffering from extensive injuries to the head. Mr. George Rae, aged 42. a blacksmith, of Mangere, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Saturday evening. Mr.. Rae was thrown from his trap when he was driving home. Through being knocked down by a bus in Karangahape Road on Saturday evening, Mr. William Burns, age 40 of 14 Vermont Street, Ponsonby, received injuries to the head. He was taken to the hospital, and his condition this morning was stated to be satisfactory. A cut over the eye was the cause of Mrs. Edith Hill’s admission to the hospital early on Saturday evening. Mrs. Hill was knocked down by a tramcar in Queen Street. A footballer, William James Leslie, aged 22, of Turn Avenue, Panrnure, while playing at the Domain on Saturday received injuries to the head. His condition is not serious, his injuries being only slight.
