WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP Press Association Friday. The Canterbury ladies’ golf championship tourney was continued to-day. In the first rpund Miss O. Kay (Dunedin) beat Miss E. Parsons (Canterbury), 4 and 3; Miss M. Stevens (Dunedin) beat Mrs. M. H. Goody (Christchurch L 3 and 2; Miss D. Chrystall (Christchurch) beat Miss McClure (Wellington), 3 and 2: Mrs. J. A. Cook (Dunedin) beat Miss K. Bristed, 6 and 5. In the semi-final Miss Kay beat Miss Stevens, 4 and 2, and Mrs. Cook beat Miss Chry stall at the 21st. The final is being played to-day. LADIES AT MAUNGAKIEKIE The following is the draw for the four-hall best-ball medal match to be played by members of the Maungakiekie Ladies’ Golf Club at the One Tree Hill links on Tuesday:—Mrs. Dufaur and Mrs. Finlay v. Miss Stubbs and Mrs. Schnauer; Miss G. Easton and Misses Grierson v. Miss Churton and Mrs. White; Miss Haslett and Mrs. Sutcliffe v. Miss Grove and Miss V. Easton; Mrs. Horton and Miss Preece v. Mrs. Stewart and Miss Carnachan; Mrs. Dignan and Mrs. Brown v. Miss Blackburn and Mrs. Grevatt; Miss G. Cooke and Mrs. Lawers v. Mrs. Lovett and Miss Millington; Miss Ponsford and Miss Harvey v. Miss Johnston and Mrs. Robinson.
