CHURCH SERVICES

The usual Sunday services will be held at St. Matthew's Church, Wellesley Street, to-morrow. The preacher at matins will be the Ven. Archdeacon G. Mac Murray. Celebration of the Holy Communion on Anzac Day will be at 7 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. At 11.30 a.m. a memorial service will be held. Wreaths may be left at the church to-day and to-morrow. At the 11 a.m. service at the Ponsonby Baptist Church the Rev. E. Nicholls will speak on the subject of ’’The Grace of Giving.” An open-air meeting in front of the church at 6.30 p.m. will be led by the church choir. The monthly young people’s service will be held at 7 p.m., when the minister will speak on *‘A True Anzac Soldier.” At the Royal Oak Baptist Church the speaker at the 11 a.m. service will be Mr. H.Dean, and in the evening a student of the Baptist College will speak.
