Press Association DUNEDIN, To-day. In the Police Court Thomas Phillips was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment for assaulting a Salvation Army officer. Accused went to the Army shelter in a drunken condition and kicked the officer severely in the ribs after he had given the man a shilling.
