The Union Company advises that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi is dLie to arrive at Auckland on Sunday from Vancouver via ports, and is announced to sail from here at 10 p.m. on Tuesday,

April 26, for Sydney. HORATIUS TO COMPLETE.— Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Company advise that the Shaw Savill and Albion steamer Horatius leaves Gisborne at noon to-day for Auckland, where she is due to-morrow to complete loading for Home. She is scheduled to clear Auckland on Saturday for London via Montevideo and Teneriffe. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL.— With cargo from West of Great Britain ports the Federal Line steamer Huntingdon left Liverpool on Sunday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on May 23. The New Zealand Shipping Company is the local agent.

WAIRUNA LEAVES ’FRISCO.— The Union Company’s transpacific steamer Wairuna sailed from San Francisco for New Zealand last Sunday. The vessel is bringing cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Auckland about May 15. BARON GRAHAM REPORTS.—A further wireless message has been received from the steamer Baron Graham stating that she will reach Auckland from Cuba at two o’clock this afternoon, a day earlier than she stated in her previous report. She is bringing a cargo of raw sugar, which will be unloaded at Chelsea. Messrs. R. Millar and Company are the local -agents.

KIA ORA DELAYED.— Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Company have been advised that the Shaw Savill and Albion steamer Kia Ora has been delayed at Bluff and now leaves tomorrow for 'Wellington and Auckland, to fill up. She is due here about April 28 and sails finally from this port on April 30 for London via New York and Halifax.

SYDNEY STEAMERS.— The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamers Maunganui and Marama reached Sydney yesterday morning from Wellington and Auckland respectively, the Maunganui at 6.15 a.m. and the Marama half an hour later. On Friday afternoon the Marama is to sail for Wellington and the Maunganui for Auckland. They are due at their destinations next Tuesday.

SOMERSET TO LOAD. The Federal Line steamer Somerset radios that she is due at 8 a.m. to-morrow from Brisbane. She will berth at Queen’s Wharf to commence loading in New Zealand for London to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. Her other loading ports are Napier, Port Chalmers and Wellington. It is over two years since the Somerset was at Auckland. She was last at this port in February, 1925, when she came from Opua to continue loading cargo for England. PORT DARWIN IN PORT.— To commence Homeward loading the C. and L>. Line steamer Port Darwin arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from Port KLembla and after pratique was granted she berthed at Queen’s Wharf. On this trip the Port Darwin left London on January 29 with a cargo of merchandise for discharge in Australia and on completion at Brisbane the vessel proceeded to Gladstone and loaded a quantity of cargo. She then went to Port Kembla for bunkers and left there last Monday evening, April 11, arriving here as above. The Port Darwin was last in Auckland in December, 1922. From this port the vessel will proceed to New Plymouth, thence Wanganui, Port Chalmers and Wellington to complete loading, being scheduled to sail finally from Wellington early in May for London, via Montevideo.

TOFUA BACK FROM ISLANDS.— The Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua, Captain Duncan McDonald, arrived back at Auckland this morning after one of her periodical visits to the Islands. The vessel left Auckland on March 26 last, and touched at many of the Island ports, including Apia and Suva. The lastnamed was left late on Thursday night last, and the ship made good speed to Auckland in perfect weather, arriving here at 5 a.m. to-day. The whole voyage was made in fine weather, but on the outward voyage the Tofua experienced a fresh south-easterly breeze. The Union Company hope to despatch the vessel again on Saturday on her usual trip to the Islands. The Tofua brought the following passengers* Saloon Mr. Jamieson, Mr. Henderson, Mr. and Mrs. Potts, Mr. Mac Daniels, Mr. and Master Allen, Mr. Sutherland, Captain Willcocks, Mr. Yarnton, Miss Carr, Mr. and Mrs. Du Dertius and child, Mr. Dickson, Mr. Ensor, Miss Gendall, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn, Miss Marshall, Mrs. Skeets, Mr. and Mrs. Worledge and child, Mr. Williams; and 10 steerage.

TRANSPACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. —The Union Company advises the following movements of their steamers engaged in the transpacific cargo services: The Waiotapu arrived at San I-ran-cisco on Sunday from Union Bay, to complete loading for Auckland, Napier, Wellington and Sydney. She is expected to clear San Francisco on April 21. The Hauraki arrived at Fanning Island on Saturday from Suva and sailed the same day for Vancouver and San FranCI The Waihemo left Westport on Thursday for Suva, Pago Pago, and Vancouver. The Waitemata left Melbourne on Thursday for Newcastle, where she arrived on Saturday.

The Wairuna left San Francisco on Thursday for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The forward loading dates at the Pacific Coast are approximately as follow: The Waiotapu will leave San Francisco about April 21 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Hauraki loads at Vancouver and San Francisco early in May for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. The Waihemo loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during May for Napier, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff.

The Waitemata loads at Vancouver and San Francisco in June for New Zealand and Australian ports. The Wairuna loads at Vancouver and San Francisco in July for New Zealand and Australian ports.

ULIMAROA FROM SYDNEY. —An arrival at Auckland yesterday afternoon was the Huddart Parker steamer Ulimaroa from Sydney and after pratique was granted she berthed at Central Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. The vessel left Sydney shortly after mid-day on Thursday last and ran into the cyclone which was raging along the Australian coast during the week-end. At mid-day on Saturday the weather moderated and the Ulimaroa then experienced southeasterly winds and rough seas for the remainder of the voyage to Auckland.
