A CHARMING PARTY

Miss Joan Heather was the hostess at a delightful little party, given in farewell to Miss Darrie Heather, of Norana Avenue, Remuera, who is leaving shortly with Mrs. Heather by the Aorangi for an extended visit of Canada and the United States. Bridge was played throughout the evening, the prize eventually being carried off by Miss McLaughlin. Miss Heather, who received the guests, wore a charming gown of rose organdie, and Miss Barrie Heather’s frock was prettily fashioned of black taffetas. The guests included Misses MacGregor, Sally Alderton, Colson, Cousins, J. Cousins, Tancred, Walkley, Wilma Heather, Gunn, Stewart, Lintott, McLughlin, Matier and Bailey.
