SUB-UNION MEETS (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, To-day. The annual meeting of the Pukekohe Rugby Sub-Union was held last evening, the president, Mr. J. Pollock, presiding. 2The treasurer’s financial statement showed a credit balance of £lOl is on the year’s working. Officers elected were: Patron. Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates; president, Mr. J. Pollock: vice-presidents, Messrs W. Wyatt, F. Perkins: secretary, Mr. W. J. Short; auditor, Mr. M. S. Campbell: management committee, Messrs M. R. Grierson, J. P. Rae. W. G. Plevdell. C. Lauer, S. P. Day, G. C. Revell and Bell; selector, Mr. S. Marshall; delegates to South Auckland Union, Messrs J. Pollock, C. Lauer. The application of the Franklin Old Boys for affiliation was withdrawn. It was decided to dispense With the system of allocating to clubs players who entered the district after the commencement of the season. A recommendation to play three rounds in lieu of two rounds in order to give players more games was referred to the management committee. The union agreed to co-operate with the recently-formed Franklin Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club by holding a seven-a-side tournament on April 23. the occasion of the club’s inaugural meeting. The management committee was recommended to appoint a junior advisory board.
