WORK AT WATERFRONT

EASTER HOLIDAYS Very little work will be done on the waterfront this week-end. Both to-morrow and Monday are holidays and Saturday is a half day. Consequently the port will be very busy on Tuesday as a number of overseas vessels will have arrived in the meantime. On Saturday the Wainui is due from Gisborne, the Kartigi from Greymouth, and the Waipiata from the South. On Monday, the Ulimaroa is due from Sydney, the Tofua from Fiji, the Denham from New York, and the Waikawa from Bunbury. The Somerset and Hurunui arrive from the coast on Tuesday, and the Horatius, Queen Maud, Baron Graham and Tongariro are all expected on Wednesday.
