CLUB COMPETITIONS (From Our Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, To-day. The club finals on the Whangarei tennis courts resulted as follows: Men’s Singles.—J. Charters defeated R. S. Finch, 6—3, 6—3. 6 4. thus winning the premier honours of the season. In the finals of the Ladies’ Doubles the Misses Matheson and Stevens defeated Mesdames McKay and Marshall, 4 —6. 6 —2, 9—7, after an interesting game. In the final of the Combined Doubles Championship. Pickmere and Miss Stevens heat Smith and Miss Carruth, 6—4, u—3.
