WEEK-END THEFTS

BUSINESS PREMISES ENTERED The premises of W. H. Tisdall, Ltd., sporting goods specialists, and of Lloyd and Richards, boot repairers, both in High Street, were broken into during the week-end. Mr. J. B. Richards, of Lloyd and Richards, estimates the firm’s loss at £lO to £ls. Some souvenirs of the Great War, an overcoat which had been left in the office by a friend on Saturday, and a pair of new boots were also taken. The intruders went through the safe and rifled the premises. A revolver was taken from the premises of Tisdall and Co., whose offices had also been thoroughly overhauled.
