Woman Burnt. —Mrs. A. Coutts, a middle-aged woman, had her clothes accidentally ignited at Waimate to-day. She is in a critical condition. Too Wet for Miners. —A Greymouth message states that the Liverpool colliery is idle to-day because they declared the weather was too wet for them to travel 18 chains from the middle break to the mine entrance.
